Late Bloomers, the one of the newest quartet from within the ranks of the chorus, formed informally in February of 2011 to participate in Racing City Chorus' Singing Valentines Program. They worked several different combinations of members over the next two years but just recently found the combination that had the "match" they were looking for in a foursome.
LB is quite an eclectic group,
Steve Dyer - Tenor - is a Senior Consultant with Simmons Recovery Consulting, a local firm that assists public applicants recover from natural disasters,
Rusty Senecal - Lead - lives in Clifton Park, NY and is the director of finance and accounting for CapitalCare Medical Group (a physician practice group).
Norm Mendenhall - Baritone - lives in Saratoga's only underground house where he runs his own business repairing computers, and
Jeff Bardin - Bass - lives in Salem, NY, and runs his own contracting business.
This is their first attempt at putting together a serious competing quartet and because of their ages they will also qualify as a "Senior's Quartet" in less than two years so the name seemed to be a natural fit.
